The Overseas, Ref 47040/B01A-9093, is a 42mm stainless steel sports watch from one of haute horlogerie’s oldest and most prestigious manufactures, founded in Geneva in 1755 — the only major Swiss house never to have interrupted production. Introduced in 2004 as the second generation of the Overseas, the ref. 47040 features the collection’s signature Maltese-cross-inspired integrated bracelet and a beautifully guilloche-engraved silver dial with applied Arabic numerals and a date window at 4:30. The in-house 1126 is a self-winding movement containing 36 jewels, beating at 28,800 vph, and delivering approximately 40 hours of power reserve. Water-resistant to 150 meters, it is presented on the iconic integrated stainless steel bracelet with deployment clasp.
