The first-ever watch collaboration for British-Nigerian artist Yinka Ilori, the M.A.D.1S "Grow Your Dreams – Sun" is a 42mm stainless steel timepiece measuring just 15mm in thickness — a notably slimmer execution than the M.A.D.1, powered by the upgraded Swiss-made La Joux-Perret G101 movement. The "Sun" edition is distinguished by its anodized yellow titanium triple-blade rotor engraved with the motto "Grow Your Dreams" and highlighted in SuperLumiNova, a first-for-M.A.D.Editions HyCeram-filled coloured bezel groove hand-polished to a ceramic finish, and a stamped aluminium baseplate with textural waves producing a vivid 3D ripple effect beneath the movement. The time is read on a single rotating hour cylinder via Yinka Ilori-designed numerals on the sapphire crystal sidewall.
