LOUIS ERARD × KONSTANTIN CHAYKIN Le Régulateur "Dusk to Dawn" Limited Edition | Stainless Steel | Ref. 85237AA89.BGA089 | Full Set

$6,995.00

This timepiece is unworn, in pristine condition. It comes as a complete set with box and March 2024 papers. Believed to be the only example currently available in the United States. Limited to 178 pieces.

The second Wristmon collaboration between Louis Erard and independent master watchmaker Konstantin Chaykin — holder of 94 patents — the Le Régulateur "Dusk to Dawn" is a 42mm stainless steel timepiece measuring 11.6mm in thickness, limited to just 178 pieces worldwide. The anthracite dial with sunray wave pattern is dominated by Chaykin's signature grotesque cyclops, inspired by the Slavic legend of the Likho: a revolving eye sub-dial at 12 o'clock indicates the hours, a gaping saw-toothed mouth at 6 o'clock devours the seconds via a spinning star-shaped disc, and a bold red hand-shaped minute hand sweeps the peripheral minute track — a three-register regulator layout unlike anything else in contemporary watchmaking. The caseback is individually engraved "Limited Edition 1 of 178." Presented on a black toad leather strap with red rabbit leather lining and a stainless steel pin buckle. The Sellita SW266-1 is a self-winding movement with a custom open-worked rotor, beating at 28,800 vph (4 Hz), and delivering approximately 38 hours of power reserve, water-resistant to 50 meters.
