The Type XXI Chronographe, reference 3817ST/X2/3ZU, is a 42mm stainless steel flyback chronograph from one of watchmaking’s most storied houses, founded by Abraham-Louis Breguet in 1775 — and the Type XX lineage itself traces directly to the French aviation tradition of the 1950s. The multi-tiered slate grey dial features luminous Arabic numeral hour markers, a small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock, a day/night indicator at 3 o’clock, and a date window at 6, with the main seconds scale engraved on the unidirectional rotating bezel, presented on a brown calfskin leather strap with deployment clasp. The in-house 584Q/2 is a self-winding flyback chronograph movement containing 26 jewels, beating at 28,800 vph, and delivering 48 hours of power reserve, water-resistant to 100 meters.
