$18,395.00
Available Upon Request

This timepiece is in mint condition with no noticeable signs of wear. It comes as a complete set including box and warranty papers dated 2024. MSRP: 26,600 USD.

Introduced in 2005 as the inaugural reference of the Tradition collection and inspired directly by Breguet's legendary 18th-century "souscription" pocket watches, the Tradition 7027 is a 37mm 18-carat rose gold timepiece measuring 11.8mm in thickness — unique in that the entire movement architecture is displayed on the front of the watch rather than the back. The anthracite grey-treated movement is built largely in front of the mainplate, revealing its bridges, bars, and the celebrated "pare-chute" shock absorber at the escapement — a hand-beveled steel device Breguet invented in 1790 to protect the balance pivot from shock. A hand-engraved black guilloché sub-dial at 12 o'clock displays hours and minutes off-center, with blued Breguet-style hands. The sapphire caseback provides a view of the movement from the reverse. Presented on a black gator leather strap with rose gold tang buckle. Retailing at 26,600 USD, this example is offered meaningfully below current retail. The hand-wound 507DR runs at an exceptionally high 6 Hz (43,200 vph), containing 34 jewels and delivering approximately 50 hours of power reserve, water-resistant to 30 meters.
